  1. Verify Merchant: Locate the order in your transaction history. Log in to the merchant’s platform to check for recurring subscriptions.

  2. Manage Free Trials: Check for any "first-month free" trials. Log in to the merchant account and remove your card before the next billing date.

  3. Check Shared Usage: Confirm if your card details (number, expiry, CVV) were shared with family or friends. Verify if they initiated the transaction.

  4. Request Merchant Refund: Contact the merchant to clarify the charge. If unauthorized, apply for a refund directly from the merchant.
