Launch App: Open the UUPAY App and tap "Install eSIM."
Confirm: Tap "Install eSIM" again and select "Continue" in the system pop-up.
System Setup: Wait for the automatic configuration to finish, then tap "Done."
Follow Prompts: Complete any remaining steps as guided by the iPhone's on-screen instructions.
Verify: Return to the UUPAY App to confirm receipt of the "eSIM Installed" notification.
Final Check: Ensure your UUPAY eSIM is Activated before departure.
Method B: Manual Installation If you need to manually configure using the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code provided by our support team:
Enter Settings: Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Service).
Add Number: Tap "Add eSIM" > "Use QR Code."
Manual Entry: Tap "Enter Details Manually" at the bottom. Paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code.
Line Preferences: Follow the on-screen instructions. We recommend setting your primary SIM as the "Default Line" and selecting the installed eSIM (often displayed as 1GLOBAL) for "Mobile Data."
Confirmation: Return to the app to verify installation and ensure the eSIM is active.
II. Android Installation Guide
Method A: Automatic Installation via UUPAY App
Launch App: Open the UUPAY App and tap "Install eSIM."
Permissions: Tap "Allow" when prompted to authorize UUPAY to manage eSIM functions.
Execute: Tap "Continue." The activation process typically takes a few minutes.
Verify: Once the interface shows "Installation Complete," ensure the eSIM activation is confirmed before your trip.
Method B: Manual/Alternative Methods (Troubleshooting)
Option 1 (Common for Samsung/Galaxy devices):
Tap "View instructions" in the error prompt for details.
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager.
Tap "Add SIM" > "Scan QR code from service provider" > "Enter activation code."
Enter details and tap "Connect" > "Add."
Data Config: In "SIM Manager," switch "Mobile Data" to the new eSIM .
Option 2 (Common for Pixel/Stock Android):
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM.
Select "Download a new eSIM" > "Need help?" > "Enter it manually."
Enter the activation info and tap "Continue" > "Download."
Activation: Once installed, toggle the SIM "On" in the settings and enable both "Mobile Data" and "Roaming."
