Dear UUPAY Users,
Following our compliance self-inspection and system architecture optimization, we are pleased to announce that UUPAY has successfully completed a deep integration with Visa, the world’s leading payment network. We are now officially launching our brand-new Visa card range services.
This upgrade is designed to adapt to changes in the global financial regulatory environment and to provide you with more robust and extensive payment coverage. With the activation of the new channel, rules regarding card issuance and KYC (Know Your Customer) have been adjusted as follows:
1. Payment Channel Upgrade
New Visa Card Range: UUPAY has now fully transitioned to the Visa network. Enjoy a seamless payment experience across tens of millions of merchants worldwide.
2. Identity Verification (KYC) Rule Adjustments
To comply with Visa’s regulatory standards, the identity verification process has undergone the following major changes:
Name Formatting: When performing real-name authentication, the "English Name" field is now mandatory. Please ensure the information entered matches the English name on your passport exactly.
3. Data Entry Format Optimization
Due to limitations within international settlement systems, the system will no longer support Chinese character input when editing shipping or billing addresses:
Language Restriction: Please complete all fields in English.
Character Standards: Only Letters (A-Z), Numbers (0-9), Hyphens (-), and Spaces are permitted.
During this architectural migration, some users' card applications may have been briefly affected. With the official launch of the Visa channel:
Order Returns & Re-application: For backlogged card applications, the system will issue a blanket return due to changes in upstream channel rules. Affected users are requested to re-initiate their applications using a passport and following the latest specifications after verifying their documents.
Strengthening Redundancy: In addition to the Visa channel, we are concurrently negotiating further backup payment solutions to manage potential future external fluctuations.
24/7 Service: If you encounter any difficulties during authentication, please feel free to contact our online customer service.
Thank you for your understanding and companionship during UUPAY’s growth. We will continue to protect your every transaction with a more compliant and secure technical architecture.
